Antidepressants for Anxiety and Depression is a 90-minute recorded training designed for therapists whose clients are on — or considering — antidepressants, and who want to understand what's happening and stay clinically useful.
This session covers how SSRIs, SNRIs, and other antidepressants actually work, how prescribers choose between them, and what therapists need to know about side effects, discontinuation, and safety concerns including the black box warning. The training is led by Janine Michaelson, PMHNP-BC of OutPsych, drawing directly from years of real-world collaboration with therapists across settings.
